Scott T. Coleman, Esq.
Scott T. Coleman was born and raised in Virginia Beach. Scott grew up in Great Neck and graduated from Frank W. Cox High School in 1994. He then went on to attend James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. He graduated in May of 1998 receiving a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice.
After graduation, Scott attended Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia. Successfully navigating the rigors of Marine officer training, Scott was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in August of 1998. He proudly began his service in the Marine Corps infantry with First Battalion, Eighth Marine Regiment (1/8), in Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He deployed overseas as a part of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit in November of 2000. He was involved in numerous field operations in Southern Europe, North Africa, and the Balkans. Scott left active service in February of 2002 as a First Lieutenant and later obtained the rank of Captain in the Individual Ready Reserve.
Scott received his juris doctor from Regent University School of Law in May, 2009 and is licensed to practice before all courts in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has an active real estate license and is a member of the American Bar Association, Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Beach Bar Association and an affiliate member of the Hampton Roads Realtor Association.
